Parade of the Happy Clappy Brigade. (One of the best painting titles ever?)
Painter Aaron Smith lives in Los Angeles.  His work is inspired by “painted sculpture found in museums.”  I’m really digging his “old school” subject matter and kinetic brush strokes.  And as always, I’m biased toward anyone working in oil. “These mostly male figures are painted with expressionistic brushstrokes to emphasize their psychological presence.”
See more of Aaron’s work on his Tumblr or on his website.
And don’t forget that you can submit your work…and now there are THREE ways to do it:
1.  Email.  It’s so old school!  vonlonewolf@gmail.com
2.  The SUBMIT button on my page.
3.  NEW NEW NEW:  The FBB Flickr pool.  So easy!
